On 16th August 2024, the Department of
Information Technology conducted a guest
lecture as part of its Industry-Institution
Interaction initiative. Mr. S.R. Ramesh Kumar,
Cyber Security Consultant at Hexaware
Technologies, presented an in-depth analysis of
current cyber security threats and mitigation
strategies to final-year students.
Complementing this technical discourse, Ms.
Chithra Muthukumaran, Head of Engineering
and Technical Coach at XORO Story Inc.,
provided a technical overview of critical skills
and methodologies essential for professional
success in the engineering field. The session
offered students actionable insights into
cybersecurity and career advancement,
bridging academic learning with industry
practices.
