Department of Chemical Engineering staffs had an industrial visit to Aavin
Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producer Federation Ltd. Dr.S.Vinod Kumar,

Associate Professor from the chemical department, accompanied by the

industrial coordinator, Dr.N.Magesh, Assistant Professor had the privilege of
meeting Mr. Manikandan, AGM of Aavin South Division. During our visit, we

were given an insightful tour of Aavin's facilities, particularly focusing on their

advanced production processes and quality control measures in the dairy

sector. Mr. Manikandan generously shared valuable insights into their
operations, highlighting their commitment to innovation and sustainability in

milk production. We had a detailed discussion with Mr. Manikandan regarding

potential collaboration opportunities for our students. We explored avenues

for student projects that could contribute to Aavin's operational efficiencies
and product innovations. Additionally, we discussed the possibility of

internships that would provide our students with hands-on experience and

exposure to real-world industry practices.
