9 Dr. V. Swarnalatha, Dr. J. Sharmila, Dr. N. Punitha, Dr. S. Rama, Dr. S.
Kiruba, Dr. A. Arulmozhi, Dr. A. Mahalakshmi, Dr. A. Dhivya, Dr. A. Uma
Devi, Dr. G. Sasikumar, and Dr. S. Savitha from the Department of
Science successfully participated in the Professional Development
Programme on "Solar, Wind and Bio Energy Applications" organized by
the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research
(NITTTR), Chennai, held from 17th to 21st March 2025 through online
mode. The programme comprised 20 notional learning hours.
10 Dr. P. Krishnan, Dr. G. Sasikumar, Dr. A. Dhivya, Dr. K. Dhanaraj, and
Dr. Chandrasatheesh C from the Department of Science were awarded
Life Membership in The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) in
March 2025, following the approval of the Executive Council. This
honour highlights their commitment to advancing the quality and
standards of technical education.
11 Dr. S. Kiruba, Dr. J. Sharmila, Dr. V. Swarnalatha, Dr. N. Punitha, Dr. S.
Rama, Ms. S. Savitha, Dr. G. Sasikumar, Dr. S.M. Prakash, and Dr.
Chandrasatheesh C from the Department of Science were awarded Life
Membership in the Indian Society for Radiation Physics (ISRP) in April
2025. This prestigious recognition highlights their active participation
and commitment to the advancement of radiation physics.
12 Dr. A. Uma Devi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Science, has
successfully completed the NPTEL Online Certification course titled
"Waste to Energy Conversion" offered by the Indian Institute of
Technology Roorkee, during the January–March 2025 session. She was
awarded an Elite with Gold certificate, securing an impressive
consolidated score of 90%.
13 Dr. N. Punitha, Professor in the Department of Science, has successfully
completed the NPTEL Online Certification course on "Waste to Energy
Conversion" offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee from
January to March 2025. She was awarded an Elite certificate, achieving a
consolidated score of 68%.
