NGO Visit by V Year Integrated MBA Students to Maria's Home for the

Aged

As part of their social responsibility initiative, the V Year Integrated MBA

students of the Department of Management Studies, St. Joseph’s College

of Engineering, visited Maria’s Home for the Aged on 03rd July 2025. The

visit was a heartfelt experience aimed at fostering compassion, empathy,

and a sense of community among the students.

The students were accompanied by Dr. S. P. Karuppiah and Dr. R. Monisha,

who guided and supported them throughout the visit. The students

engaged in meaningful interactions with the elderly residents,

participated in activities to uplift their spirits, and contributed basic

necessities to the home.

This outreach effort helped students appreciate the importance of caring

for the elderly and reinforced the values of humanity and service, integral

to becoming socially responsible management professionals.
