30-06-2025 to 04-07-2025.

1 Dr. J. Sharmila, Assistant Professor in the Department of Science,
published an Indian patent titled “Colorimetric Sensor System and

Method for Rapid Detection of Heavy Metal Ions in Aqueous

Environments”, which appeared in The Patent Office Journal No.

28/2025 on 11th July 2025.

successfully participated in the National-Level Online Workshop

on “Application Development with AI & Essential Skills”, organized

by St. Joseph’s College of Engineering in association with
Brainovision Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. and in collaboration with

AICTE. The workshop was held from June 23 to June 27, 2025.

1 Dr. S. Suresh, Associate Professor in the Department of Science,
participated and presented a paper titled “FTIR and DSC Analysis

of Protein and Carbohydrate – Silver Oxide Nanoparticles” at the

8th International Conference on Recent Innovations in Modern
Science and Technology (ICRIMST-2025), held at Sri

Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Chennai, from 9th

to 11th July 2025.
