Dr. N. Punitha, Professor in the Department of Science, co-
authored the article titled "Performance and emission

characteristics of waste cooking oil biodiesel blends in
sustainable fuel applications", published in Scientific Reports,

Dr. M. Chamundeeswari from the Department of

Biotechnology participated in the 8th International Istanbul
Current Scientific Research Congress held from October 10-

12, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye. She contributed with an oral
and technical presentation showcasing research work on an
ecological approach to microplastic detection and

sustainable remediation.

Dr. G. Baskar from the Department of Biotechnology
participated in the 114th National Day Celebration of

Taiwan on October 9, 2025. The event featured
distinguished guests and celebrated Taiwan’s

international collaborations. Addresses from officials
highlighted achievements in education and cultural
partnerships.

Dr. A. Uma Devi, Assistant Professor in the Department of

Science, received the Academic Excellence Award 2025 from
Scientific Research Reports (SRR Books), Chennai, in

recognition of her exemplary service and valuable
contributions towards the betterment of society.
