Dr. P. Saravanan from the Department of Chemistry has authored three research articles.
The first article, titled "Enhancing Diesel Production from Waste Plastics: A Study on
Pd/MCM-48 Catalytic Hydroprocessing," was published in the journal Fuel Processing
Technology (ELSEVIER). The second article is titled "Synthesis of Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3)
1 Nanoparticles Decorated with Polymeric Carbon (Al2O3/AC) Nanocomposites for High
Specific Capacitance Value," and it appears in the journal Polymers for Advanced
Technologies (WILEY). The third article, "Time-Dependent Hydrothermal Synthesis of
La2O3 NPs for Effective Catalytic Activity of Ionic Dye," was published in the journal
LUMINESCENCE (WILEY).
Dr. P. Saravanan from the Department of Chemistry has contributed a book chapter entitled

Performance and Innovations," which is the 15th chapter published by IGI Global. The

"Mr K. RAJKUMAR" Assistant professor from Department of computer science and
4 engineering uas Published Indian Patent on 04/10/2024 in the title Called Enhancing
Agricultural Productivity with IOT,AI,AND ML: A Smart Approach to crop monitoring".
Dr.S.Vinod Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering has published
5 a patent on “ A Blockchain-Based Cloud Storage system with encrypted data retrieval”
Dr. N. Magesh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, has
6 successfully completed an 8-module Coursera course titled "Introduction to Sustainability."
This course enhances his knowledge in sustainable practices, aligning with global efforts
toward environmental preservation and sustainable development.
Dr. N. Venkatesh, Head of Chemical Engineering, was awarded a Presentation Certificate for
7 his research on "Antimicrobial Properties of Sophorolipids from *Starmerella bombicola*
MTCC" at the **International Conference on Sustainable Waste Management** organized by
the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.
8 S.AGHALYA has published a patent titled “ Wearable IOT Bands for stress regulation with
Adaptive machine learning techniques”.
